Obesity gene causes wait (And then weight)

Hands holding onto DNA genes

You yell with glee.

You cry with joy.

You just don’t jump up and down because gravity and the fat around your body have conspired a special pact.

Yes, word is going around on this new discovery of lard proportions.

Scientists have discovered a gene that could be an important cause of obesity and suggest that suppressing the gene could prevent fat accumulation in people who are overweight.

Whooo! Now that’s good news. We’re inching closer to dropping all those delicious regrets of the past.

The time is upon you to erase those hidden horrible memories from your larger-than-life head.

Who isn’t tired of the special look the sexy guys/ladies give? No, not of disgust. That’s a given. I mean looking over you in an attempt to check out the person your body is eclipsing.

Or how about when sitting down to eat a plentiful meal and everyone takes a peek at what you’re munching and how much of it.

Oh yes. The smirks. The smirks! The pleasure they take in not being you.

Oh, you know you noticed.

You’re not a zombie.

You’re over-weight, not unconscious.

But this science advancement changes the whole game. Now, it’s simply a matter of waiting. Patience is a virture and all that.

Sit back. Relax. Forget the stress of exercise and tummy tucks. The scientists got your large back.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Grab some munchies while you’re at it. It’s taking a while.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

*growl* Dang. Virtue isn’t filling. Order some Chinese takeout and a diet coke.

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Wait, when is this weight loss gene coming out again?

Tick tock. Tick tock.

Dang. 5 years have passed and your still life has made you fatter? All this wait and nothing.

This isn’t an obesity gene. They should call this the wait gene.

Maybe you should do something while you’re currently waiting.

You know, just in case.

I don't know. Sometimes it feels like my writing & thoughts are way off. Who knows if it'll help anyone or if it means anything.
